Process Mapping of Reengineering Frontline Management

Our Mine Intelligence Integrated Operations Center (MIIOC) at the University of Arizona provides capabilities as Process Mapping to Reengineer Frontline Management in diverse Mine Operations.

Reengineering tactical management begins with process mapping of data and work flows, responsibilities, and culture necessary to identify the current and a feasible future system.

The process mapping objective is to establish a baseline of the current processes and “the way to work” immerse in these operations and their cultural organization. Focusing in define information flows between operational areas, and how some processes could be shortened or improved according to the KPI’s of each area in an Innovation through Change Management.

Work has been ongoing at one of the largest open-pit coal mine in North America to build the ideal control room, work flows, and integrated real-time and historical business intelligence infrastructure
